Servers: Content Module Installation

General Description
The Servers content module is supplied as an archive servers.zip including ready-made knowledge objects. Installation is performed through the content management interface.
Module Components
- Dashboards — visualization of Linux and Windows server infrastructure status
- Monitoring Tasks — generation of infrastructure incidents based on server metrics and status
- Population Tasks — updating the server directory for inventory and incidents
- Indexes — bootstrap indexes for initializing module storages
- ISM Policy — storage and rotation rule for module indexes
- Tags — labels for grouping and filtering content
Attention!
Settings in the indexes and policiesism directories must be adapted to the storage and rotation requirements of a specific installation.
Module Installation
To install, perform the actions described in the corresponding section Content Management.
Example
- Go to the
Content Managementsection: (Main Menu-System Settings-Module Settings-MAIN-Content Management) - Select or drag the content module archive
servers.zip - Confirm installation. After completion, objects will be available in the corresponding interface sections
Information
Before uploading the content module, make sure all dependencies are installed and configurations are loaded correctly.
Installation Completion Sequence
After loading the content, you need to:
- start or restart
Logstash - start or restart
SmartBeatManager - ensure that data has started flowing into the
srv_metrics*,srv_inv_linux*andsrv_inv_windows*indexes
This sequence allows data flow to begin already into the prepared index structure with installed ISM policies.
