Servers: Module Installation

General Description​

The Servers module is designed for integrating system metrics and inventory data of Linux and Windows servers into Smart Monitor. During installation, technical dependencies of the module are prepared and the content package is loaded.

Package Contents​

  • servers_ko_maker — utility for deploying configuration and dependencies
  • servers.zip — archive with content module (dashboards, tasks, indexes, ISM policies and tags)

Installation Steps​

  1. Servers: Configuration Setup — creating index templates, index patterns and inventory settings using the servers_ko_maker utility
  2. Servers: Content Module Installation — importing dashboards, tasks, indexes, ISM policies and tags through the content management interface
