Database Observability: Inventory

The module sends information about the PostgreSQL infrastructure to Inventory. The asset list shows clusters, instances, and installed extensions.

Asset Card​

The card contains the object's technical attributes and links to dashboards. Incidents are linked to assets automatically, so operators can view events in the context of a specific cluster or instance.

Asset Relationships​

The module creates three types of assets: a PostgreSQL cluster, a PostgreSQL instance, and an instance extension. Inventory configurations link an instance to a cluster and an extension to an instance.
