AI Observability: Claude Code - Member

The AI Observability: Claude Code - Member dashboard shows one member's work with Claude Code: activity and outcomes, spending and tokens, models and skills, daily summaries, sessions, and subscription-limit utilization. It can be opened from tables in the AI Observability: Claude Code - Organization and AI Observability: Claude Code - Team and Productivity dashboards, as well as from incident cards related to subscription limits.

Useful for: team members, team leads, and Claude subscription administrators.

Data sources: gen_ai_metrics*, gen_ai_events*, and the claude_code_members, claude_code_analytics_daily, claude_code_analytics_models_daily, claude_code_analytics_tools_daily, claude_code_activity_daily, and claude_code_sessions lookups.

Main Sections​

1. Activity and Spending​

Shows the member's main metrics for the period:

  • sessions, active time, commits, added lines, and share of accepted suggestions
  • costs, tokens, API requests, average response time, and API errors
  • daily costs
  • tokens by type over time: input, output, cache reads, and cache creation

2. Models, Tools, and Individual Usage​

Shows the member's models and tools and their position within the organization:

  • costs by model from an equivalent of the Analytics API model breakdown
  • accepted and rejected decisions for editing tools
  • audit feed events by type from an equivalent of the Compliance API audit feed
  • a member card with spending for the period and its share of organizational spending, sessions, seat type, role, join date, and status
  • daily costs by model family
  • the member's models: costs, change relative to the previous seven days, and share

Seat type, role, join date, and status come from the claude_code_members lookup.

3. Skills, Daily Summary, and Sessions​

Shows the member's skills and two tables based on equivalent lookup data:

  • the member's skills: number of uses and cost per use
  • a daily summary, equivalent to Analytics API data: sessions, added and deleted lines, commits, share of accepted suggestions, active minutes, and daily costs
  • Claude Code sessions, equivalent to a Compliance API session list: start and update times, session ID, project, model, node, and operation count

4. Subscription Limits​

Shows the member's subscription-limit utilization based on snapshots from the limit collector:

  • utilization of the five-hour and weekly windows and a model-specific limit in the latest snapshot
  • time until the five-hour and weekly windows reset and number of limit-related rejections (429)
  • window utilization over time and model-specific limits
  • hourly Claude Code spending and times when window utilization exceeded 80%
