Getting Started and Migration

Initialization

Before starting to use the Resource-Service Model, initialization must be performed. To do this, execute the following command in the Dev Tools console (Main Menu - Settings - Dev Tools):

GET _core/rsm/init

After successful initialization, you can proceed to creating a model.

Migration

You can easily migrate your existing model for use in the new version.

1. First, obtain the model identifier from the old version. You can get it from the URL of the old version's resource-service model page, for example: sm:5601/app/rsm/tree#?_q=(level:1,model_id:***model_2442d2d1-d8a4-11ef-9e45-25439e417cec***,timezone:'%2B03:00')
2. Execute the following command in the Dev Tools console (Main Menu - Settings - Dev Tools):

GET _core/rsm/migrate/<Model Identifier from step 1>

After successful initialization, you can proceed to reviewing models or the graph.

Configuring the Menu

Via the Graphical Interface

To view the functionality, you need to create elements in the navigation menu. To do this, open the menu Main Menu - Settings - Management - Main - Menu Settings. Click the Add Module button.

Fill in the fields for the module as follows:

Inside the RSM module, click the Add Section button. To display ASM Tree and Layers, as well as to display the Layers, Metrics, and Services tables, fill in the fields as follows:

Click the Save Changes button. Configure permissions for user groups if necessary.
