Overview

Allows selecting the Service Provider mode:

• Disabled
• SP Client
• SP Server

"Disabled" Mode

Disabling makes the current Smart Monitor installation operate standalone.

"SP Client" Mode

Enables using Smart Monitor as a child cluster (can only connect to an SP Server).

Cross-cluster search CCS must be configured for this operation: the current cluster must be configured as a remote cluster.

"SP Server" Mode

Allows connecting child clusters as clients and utilizing their data.

Cross-cluster search CCS (Cross-cluster search) must be configured for this operation: the current cluster must be configured as a local cluster.
